IMPORTANT DATES FOR APPLICATIONS AND AUDITIONS

JulyOctober 2011: Handing out all flyers and notifications to all music schools, affiliated businesses, festivals, competitions, etc. Festival Website Blog Officially opens!

July 15 2011 – February 25 2012: Receiving all applications / materials for ALL categories. Category C and D participantsregistrations are open until May 16th, 2012. Last day to register and pay is May 16th, 2012. Application fee (BANK TRANSFER) must be received at least a week after you submit your application form paperwork.

February 2012 – date & venue TBD: Live auditions in Indonesia for the Category A & B Scholarship students applicants. Audition cities: Jakarta, Surabaya, and Yogyakarta (possibly adding Medan). Participants can upload their materials on youtube instead of attending live auditions – BUT live auditions are highly encouraged due to the competitive nature of this application process.

March 30th, 2012: Announcements of Accepted Participants of Category A and B, and Active Young Composers and Conducting Participants (Highly Selective Audition Competition – FULL SCHOLARSHIP). Automatic acceptance for Category C and D, Conducting apprenticeship (observer), and Young Composers  (observers) workshop participants.

April 20th, 2012: Last date for confirming participation / acceptance for Scholarship Students and Category B students. And last date to confirm participation as Category C and D.

May 16th,  2012: LAST DATE for submitting course fee and deposit fee payments (BANK TRANSFER) for the festival and to ensure your spot, for all participants. Also, LAST DATE to register and pay as Category C or D participants (last day to pay for fees, for all festival attendees). You WILL lose your spot as participants if money transfer has not been made by this date.

June 30th: Last date for ALL PARTICIPANTS to arrive in Yogyakarta to participate at the festival. You will have to arrive and check in at the hotel on this day, so that everything can run smoothly and conveniently.
